The tradition at my house on Christmas eve: Spinach dip with fresh veggie tray, roasted spiced pecans, stuffed dates with walnuts, finger sandwiches, and of course all kinds of sweets, i.e. pralines, divinity, miniature pecan pies, Christmas cookies and a bowl of spiced eggnog.

On Christmas Day, we do a traditional meal but Christmas Eve is fun & casual. We do deli meats & cheese with assorted breads, baked beans, potato salad, chips & dip, spicy meatballs, etc. For dessert, we do tons of cookies, brownies & cupcakes. It’s great!!

Well My mom does xmas eve at her house evry yr and since i love to cook i usually do a lot of the work.. We usually have meatballs, hot roast beef, shrimp, get a chicken wing platter from a local wing place ( sauces on side to dip) chicken finger platter potatoe salad and a lunch meat tray of course we have homemade cookies, candy chips pretzels, cheese peporoni crackers crab dip family loves it. and its not tooo much work
