What can you do to encourage new branching on lost lower limbs of the North Folk Island Pine? You know how North Folk Pines often loose bottom branches usually from lack of watering. What can be done (if) to regrow this area of the plant?

nothing can be done, they won’t rebranch, they only ever get taller.it is possible to plant a smaller plant in the pot with it to camoflage the bare lower portion

i have a norkfollk pine plant its branches are all droopy i watered the plant and repotted it but the branche? I have a nork folk pine tree the branches are all droopy so I watered the plant and repotted the plant but the branches are still like this what is wrong with this plant ? why are the branched all droopy the t needles on the tree are green any ideas ?
If the tree is green then there is nothing wrong. I’ve had one for three years which is now a Bonsai. I noticed that the branches would start to droop as they got longer. I prune mine so they are not hanging. Keep the soil moist but not soaking. It also like plenty of sun and occasional misting.

Norfolk Island Pines that have been grown in bright light outside or in greenhouses in Florida and elsewhere tend to develop drooping branches — and even to drop/shed their lower branches — as they adapt to the dimmer, lower-quality light inside a house. Doesn’t have much to do with the water or pot. Just keep it in the brightest window you have, and maybe move it outdoors for summer.

How can I get more kinds of fruit on Animal Crossing City Folk Wii? I’ve had the game for about a month, and my town currently only has cherry and pine trees. Once I found a coconut on the beach and planted it, but one day it mysteriously dissapeared. Where/how can I get some kind of fruit other then cherries? Thanks!
You can do it three different ways.1. Send your neighbors letters with fruit (doesn’t matter what kind) attached. Most of the time they will send you back a letter with a different kind of fruit attached.2. Every once in a while your mom will send you a letter with fruit attached. It’s not too often but hey, this is another way to get it.3. Visit someone else’s town and get fruit from there.

Go to somebodies town and pick fruit from their town,Then go back to your town, and plant the fruits. That is the only way to grow new fruit in ACCF.Hope this helps, You pretty much did what you had to do. lol =-]

You send a letter to each of the other animals in the town with one fruit attached and the following text: fruit friend. You must talk to them so they like you or they might not send something back. Also keep trying it doesn’t alway work the first time. Then each one will send you a foreign fruit or an article of clothing and you can plant the fruit and grow foreign fruit trees1) Always plant a new fruit in the same location that you chopped down antoher tree (gauranteed to grow)2) Coconuts only grow on the coastline. (The line between the sand and grass). Plant them there.Good Luck.

One way is finding coconuts on the beach (make sure you keep it watered or it wont grow) or go to a friends town and “steal” some of their fruits and plant em in your town.I use to just have Apple trees, then I found a coconut and now I have a forest of those.(P.S. Your own fruit sells for 100 bells, while other will sell for 500)

As was already mentioned, you can write letters to your neighbors with your town’s fruit attached and there is a chance they will send you a foreign fruit back. In my experience, this works about 60% of the time. I tend to send letters to my neighbors at least twice a day, each time with fruit attached. not always looking for fruit in return, but also because they sometimes send cool clothing that I haven’t seen in Able Sisters yet.I’ve found coconuts washed up on shore like four times since I started my new town a few days ago. That didn’t happen in my original town so I wouldn’t count on that. Like someone else said, coconuts grow best down by the beach. Don’t plant them in the sand or they won’t grow; plant them in the row of dirt that is just past the sand. Also, don’t plant them directly in front of the “path” out of any of the houses or they won’t grow.Once you’ve successfully grown a couple of coconut trees, you can experiment with how far back from the shore line you can grow them. I’ve gotten them to grow pretty far back, almost right up to the ridge of the upper level. I usually do it so that my lower acres only grow coconut trees; all other fruiting trees are on the upper acres. Also, someone mentioned that you have to water coconut trees daily and that’s not true. I experimented to see if it was true and found that they still grow just fine without being watered ever.If you don’t want to go the route of trying to get fruit from your neighbors (which will work eventually) you can post your FC and I’ll give you my info and you can come to my town and get some.. I have all of them.Either way, good luck!ETA: About your disappearing coconut tree: did it ever grow beyond the little tree top sticking out of the ground? Because what happens is if you didn’t plant it in a “good” spot, it will still come up like a little tree top right after you bury the fruit, but the next day it won’t have grown and instead it will still be that little tree top. The next day, it will have disappeared completely because it just couldn’t grow there.

Well one way is if you talk to your neighbors through mail alot, then and there is a chance (small chance) they will send you a fruit as a present. The other way is going to a friends town and picking it and then planting it in your town. (Requires Wi-Fi)P.s., If you plant coconuts too far in the sand, they will die (A.K.A disapear). Hope this helped!

Visit someone else’s town and get fruit from there.Your coconut tree probably died from either being too close to grass and not shore or from being trampled on. But don’t worry about it, coconuts will wash up on the shore every few days so you’ll probably find one soon.
