Any good song ideas for upbeat choreography? I’m putting together a few full dances for a few girls (aged at 14 and 15) to get exercise, and have fun with! So, any good ideas for songs that you can create hip hop, jazz, or “music video style” dances to? Thanks!-B-

Some great music to go with a documentary about the Vietnam war? Songs like Paint it black or Age of Destruction.Like All along the Watchtower, too. That kind of guitar work always reminds me of Vietnam.

Fortunate Son – Creedence Clear Water Revival2.Purple Haze – Jimi Hendrix3.Where Have All The Flowers Gone – Pete Seger4.War (What is it good for) – Edwin Starr5.Magic Carpet Ride – SteppenwolfHope this helps a little. Keep in mind that a lot of CCR’s and Jimi Hendrix’s Songs were about the war.

Straight to Hell by The Clash would be a great song if your documentary includes the children that American GI’s fathered with Vietnamese women.

Billy Joel has a song called “Good Night Saigon”That song is about the Vietman War. Its on his 1982 CD with other songs like “Allentown”, “Laura”, etc. Depeche Mode also has a song called “Agent Orange”You can find both music vids on Youtube , just listen to them and see if you like them or not.also, you buy the songs here

blue oyster cult ~ don’t fear the starr ~ lennon ~ stand by me lennon ~ all we are saying is give peace a’ll probably be back with more.bob dylan ~ blowin’ in the wind bob dylan ~ like a rolling stoneif you want some more you can e-main me.

Listen to a band called Sabaton. Pretty much all of their songs are about war and I’m sure they have some about the Vietnam war.

All the suggestions are great, basically any 60’s/70’s music is great for that time era.I would recommend “American Woman” by the Guess Who. It was written as a protest song to the war.

for what its worth by buffalo springfield would be a good one too, and yeah all along the watchtower would be sweet, i was about to suggest it after glancing at the question but saw that someone beat me to it.
