I found someone’s interpretation – sounds fairly accurate.”Written after Planno was stopped by the police for driving Bob’s car without a full license; Bob was held in prison overnight for aiding and abetting his friend. But the line “Caution, the road is wet” is a metaphor, for the conditions of the struggle. Watch your step, says Bob.”

what is the song “Caution” by Bob Marley about? Any hidden messages? In my opinion this is one of Bob Marley’s best songs. It comes together as a very rhythmic and soulful song but I don’t know what it means. here are the lyrics..”Here I am, walking down the street (walk walk walk walk walk walk walk)and the terrain, everything is so sweet(woah woah woah sweet 2x)I´m doing my thing and I´m doing it slowbut there is just one thing I would like you to know, ooWhen it wet it slippery yeaWhen it dump it crumpyIf it´s likely you will tumble downDon´t want you on the groundOh oh oh Caution, the road is wetBlack soul is black as jetDo you hear meCaution the road is hotYou got to do better than that´cause ahWhen it wet it slippery (when it wet it slippery yea)When it damp it crampyIf it´s likely you were tumbling downdon´t wash it on the ground brotherHit me from the topyou crazy motherfunky (3x)When it wet it slippery yeawhen it dumpy crumpyif it´s likely you were tumbling downdon´t wash it on the groundCaution.”
Bob Marley albums? I recently bought a Bob Marley and The Wailers “Forever” 3 Disc set. Most of the songs fit in with Soul Revolutiona and Soul Rebels, but the rest I couldn’t find what albums they came from. Maybe they are rare songs and were never on albums? Any help would be appreciated(note: I’m not looking for the compilation albums, but if that’s the only album those songs are on, that’s ok)”All In One””Chances Are””Caution””Do It Twice””Go And Tell The Mountain””Hammer””How Many Times””Lively Up Yourself””Mellow Mood””Rainbow Country””Soon Come””Soul Captives””Stop The Train””Touch Me””Trenchtown Rock””You Can’t Do That To Me”
i guess it didnt come with a booklet to tell you where the recordings come from? jamaican music in the 60s and early 70s was very much based on 45 rpm singles. they really started making albums primarily for the american and british markets. I wouldnt be surprised if many were just singles.however, a few of those i could name what album off the top of my head, lively up yourself was on natty dread, trenchtown rock was on african herbsman, stop that train was on catch a fire.
